I am a caregiver for my brother. I am 68 years old with a 48 year old son.

When was your loved one diagnosed?

 

He was diagnosed in 2014 while living in California and I have been his caregiver for two years.

What has been most helpful to you during this time and how?

Friends Place Adult Day Services has been so helpful in allowing me to have free time to myself.

What has been the most challenging part of being a caregiver? 

 

I struggle with watching my brother not be himself.
